One-piece aluminum cans 100% recyclable, pharmaceutical grade anodized, designed for sterile pharmaceutical products (API, excipients). Their chloro-butyl closure, crimped with an aluminum cap ensures optimal tightness.

Tightness

The precise sealing surface finish guarantees optimal contact with the chloro-butyl stopper, a material recognized for its very low permeability. Crimping of the aluminum cap applies uniform pressure that reinforces tightness and eliminates any risk of leakage or contamination.

Compatibility

Made of pure aluminum compatible with pharmaceutical grade requirements, the cans benefit from an anodization treatment that reinforces their inertness and stabilizes their surface. This design limits any possible interaction with APIs, even in the long term, thus ensuring chemical stability of the content and control of compliance with pharmaceutical requirements. With more than 50 years of experience for APIs and 20 years for anesthesia products, we master the requirements of these markets.

Cleanliness

During manufacturing, cans undergo intensive washing as well as protective anodization of their surface, guaranteeing a clean, stable surface perfectly adapted to pharmaceutical requirements. They are then inspected one by one and packed in an individual bag, ensuring total control of particulate or microbiological contamination before use.

Cans meet the highest Tournaire standards in terms of cleanliness and stoppers are supplied ready to be sterilized (Autoclave, Dry Heat Sterilization, etc.).

Periodic monitoring of chemical, microbiological and particulate cleanliness is carried out in order to ensure constant quality of the range.

Regulatory

Compliant with the regulatory requirements of the pharmaceutical sector, these packaging have a Drug Master File (DMF) with the Food and Drug Administration (United States FDA) and a Chinese Drug Master File with the Chinese authorities, Chinese Food and Drug Administration (CFDA).

Safety

The crimped aluminum cap guarantees the absence of accidental opening of the packaging and ensures tamper evidence for APIs.

Sustainability

Cans are made of pure aluminum, 100% recyclable. The recyclability of packaging that has been in contact with pharmaceutical products may however vary according to local regulations.

T802™ T835™, O220™, and T1C32™ ranges are sterilizable by most processes commonly used in the industry. The main sterilization techniques for aluminum cans are dry heat, autoclave or gamma radiation. Dry heat sterilization has the advantage of operating simultaneous depyrogenation according to temperature and duration conditions. This is a certain advantage of oxidized aluminum cans compared to packaging containing a plastic part.
