Every year, Quality of Working Life and Conditions Week is an opportunity to pause for a moment and ask a simple question: how are we doing at work?
At Tournaire, this question is not limited to just one week a year.
The company takes action through a wide range of initiatives, measures and commitments designed to promote quality of working life and enable everyone to work in the best possible conditions.
This approach is notably reflected in the Health & Well-being Committee, an internal initiative dedicated to well-being at work and the continuous improvement of working conditions.
These actions have a simple objective: to support employees in their daily lives, encourage healthier habits, and create a calmer, more attentive and more collective working environment.
“Well-being at work is not a luxury. It is an essential condition that enables everyone to thrive, collaborate and give their best — in the workshop as well as in the office.”
QWL at Tournaire: A Committee Dedicated to Well-being at Work
Among the initiatives implemented, the Health & Well-being Committee plays a central role. It helps bring Tournaire’s QWL approach to life within the company by regularly providing useful, accessible content adapted to real working conditions.
Every quarter, the committee publishes a journal designed as a practical guide to help employees improve their daily professional and personal lives.
In each issue, employees can find:
- sports tips adapted to all levels;
- healthy and tasty recipes;
- features on foods that support energy, concentration or recovery;
- ideas for cultural, sports or outdoor activities depending on the season;
- advice on posture and good workplace habits, adapted to the realities of both the workshop and the office;
- guidance on managing stress, organizing the day and preserving personal balance.
Above all, this journal is a link. It is a way of reminding us that behind every workstation, there is a person, with their own efforts, needs and desire for greater well-being.
Health at Work and QWL: A Human and Sustainable Commitment
Quality of Working Life and Conditions, QWL, is an essential issue for a responsible industrial company. It contributes to health at work, risk prevention, the quality of human relationships and the sense of purpose people find in their work.
For Tournaire, taking care of its teams also helps strengthen the quality of the work carried out every day. Employees who are supported, listened to and made aware of good workplace practices are able to work in better conditions to design, manufacture, inspect and support reliable, technical and break-resistant packaging solutions.
This approach is fully aligned with Tournaire’s commitments: taking care of the essential through its packaging, its industrial expertise and the attention given to the women and men who bring the company to life.
Well-being at Work in an Industrial Company: A Collective Dynamic
Well-being at work is built over time, through regular actions, shared habits and attention paid to each individual. It is based on several interconnected pillars: physical health, the quality of relationships, the sense of purpose at work and the ability to disconnect in order to come back stronger.
At Tournaire, these pillars reinforce one another. Everyone, at their own level, can help foster a culture of better well-being at work, in the workshop as well as in the office.
Through the Health & Well-being Committee, Tournaire encourages simple but essential habits: moving more, adopting better postures, eating better, preserving energy, clearing the mind and maintaining high-quality working relationships.
These initiatives contribute to a collective dynamic in which industrial performance goes hand in hand with health, engagement and quality of working life.
Through Quality of Working Life and Conditions Week and the actions carried out throughout the year, Tournaire affirms a strong belief: taking care of its teams also means taking care of quality, innovation and the relationship of trust built with its customers and partners.
