Accessories for Aluminum Packaging: Solutions to Facilitate Your Operations

We offer a range of accessories for aluminum bottles and cans, designed to facilitate the various stages of their use: filling, closing, storage, dispensing, emptying and transportation of raw materials.

These solutions help improve handling ergonomics, enhance operational safety and meet the specific requirements of many industrial sectors, including perfumery, flavors and fragrances, fine chemicals and the pharmaceutical industry.

Aware of the critical importance of pouring and emptying operations in your activities, Tournaire offers three accessories compatible with SYSTEM PLUS® 62 packaging to facilitate this critical handling operation.

• The pouring spout is used with a pierced cap, also available for purchase. It facilitates product flow, enabling cleaner, more controlled and precise pouring.

This solution is particularly suited to the handling of high-value raw materials, especially in the perfumery sector, for the packaging and handling of fragrance compositions, essential oils and other sensitive liquids.

• The threaded tap adapter is compatible with standard tap models available on the market. Recommended for 6L25 to 32L containers, this accessory improves the ergonomics of emptying operations, providing a more consistent flow and greater pouring precision.

• The DN40 adapter, available for purchase, allows SYSTEM PLUS® 62 packaging to be connected directly to any equipment fitted with a DN40-standard connection. It ensures fast and safe emptying while limiting handling and exposure to the material. For example, it meets the requirements for transferring metal powders to additive manufacturing machines.

The reliability of packaging closure is essential to maintain airtightness and protect the contents.

Dedicated accessories help make the closure of aluminum bottles and cans easier and more secure.

Tightening and loosening nuts are available for our various ranges of cans with screw caps: SYSTEM PLUS®, OMNI PLUS®, T4S and CHEM 42. They make it easier to apply the recommended tightening torque and are compatible with standard torque wrenches available on the market, using an adapter.

Depending on the required tightening torque, several types of wrenches can be used:

• Non-resetting click-type torque wrenches: ref. R.208-25 (5 to 25 N·m) and ref. R.306-5 (1 to 5 N·m);

• Dial torque wrench: ref. R.250 A (2 to 9 N·m), used with an adapter.

The ranges of cans with crimped caps also come with dedicated tools for removing caps and crimping and uncrimping aluminum caps.

These tools, developed in-house, are specifically designed for Tournaire cans from the T1C32, T802 and T835 ranges.

To facilitate the dispensing of liquids, Tournaire also offers an accessory specifically designed for the CHEM 50 closure, available in particular for the 1.1 L format.

It allows you to dispense up to 100 mL of liquid, with graduations every 10 mL. Its ergonomic design makes it easy to attach to the dedicated cap.

Tournaire also offers UN-approved cartons for the transport of hazardous materials, specially designed and certified for use with various aluminum cans from the SYSTEM PLUS® range.

Combined with UN-approved bottles and cans, they provide a complete packaging solution to ensure the safe transport of hazardous materials.

Several sizes are available to accommodate the different formats of Tournaire cans.
