Pernod Ricard visits Tournaire

Last June the staff of Tournaire’s Equipment Division welcomed to their site in Grasse a European delegation from the Pernod Ricard Group, composed of industrial leaders from the Czech Republic, Spain, Finland, Greece, Italy, Poland and, of course, France: on the agenda were a tour of the site, in particular the workshops, and discussions to promote a better understanding on one side of the problems and on the other the solutions – the range of products and services – proposed.

To produce its specialties Pernod Ricard needs natural raw material extracts of exceptional quality and purity. The meeting between these two leaders in their respective fields thus gave them the opportunity to review Pernod Ricard’s technical requirements in this field. In turn, each of the Pernod Ricard representatives described their needs and technical constraints. Then the technical and sales teams from Tournaire’s Equipment Division were able to present their solutions.

The participants soon realized that Tournaire could offer genuine added value to the groups from Pernod Ricard, particularly in processes linked to the extraction of natural raw materials and in other fields such as automation, ergonomics, waste management, solvent recycling, etc.

The two groups agreed to meet again to continue to examine the possibilities of partnership. This is summed up by Mr Sylvain Guyonnet, Industrial Development Manager of Pernod Ricard EMEA and leader of the delegation, at the end of the day’s visit: “We have identified more precisely the various fields in which Tournaire’s universally recognized expertise could be useful to our production sites, particularly as regards engineering to optimize our extraction equipment.”».

Franck Bardini, Head of Tournaire’s Equipment Division, expressed his genuine satisfaction: “This type of meeting is extremely useful. Pernod Ricard came not to order a plant but to exchange views on common problems. Its expertise, experience and market position make Tournaire an added-value partner that can help demanding companies further strengthen their industrial processes to the benefit of their customers, whoever they may be. We sincerely hope that this first meeting will be quickly followed by other opportunities for dialogue and sharing!” ».
